Imagine is proud to launch the new and improved website for “VisitJordan”, starting with the International English version, to be followed by the Arabic version, and eventually sum up to a total of six languages to cater to an international audience of Jordan-bound visitors and tourists.
The Jordan Tourism Board’s Managing Director Dr. Abed Al RazzaqArabiyat, said:“The dynamics of the tourism industry are constantly changing, demanding an innovative approach to measure up to the international standards of any tourism-related entity. In light of the recent increase in number of tourists due to the newly launched low-cost and charter flight carriers, the demand is only rising, which makes it even more imperative to be efficient, innovative and adaptive in the way we shed light on the unique touristic experiences Jordan is capable of providing.”
The website focuses on the activities and experiences a tourist is able to live and experience in Jordan as well. Not only that, but the website also allows local service providers who offer unique tourism experiences by listing their services for tourists to choose from, provided that they’re officially registered. Moreover, in order to provide a smooth user experience, the website is equipped with new search features that enable the user to customize their itinerary based on the activities or type of experience they seek.
Furthermore, the website utilizes user-generated content to showcase the Jordanian tourism experience through the tourists’ eyes in different locations. In this day and age of instant response, introducing chatbottechnology was a natural step in this direction, as people from all over the globe -tourists and visitors alike- would need instant answers to their questions and inquiries; a task the chatbot would be a valuable asset to handle.
The Visit Jordan Chatbot can therefore help with providing answers to frequently asked questions and guide users through the site and their trip planning process. Jordan Tourism Boards’ efforts will always focus on looking for and applying modern media tools to serve Jordan and represent it in the best possible way, and giving the current website an uplift is only one way of making the best out of these tools.
